Creating a Hidden Album
A Hidden Album is similar to a private album, however, you can still share the pictures. Setting up a hidden album will allow you to upload pictures to share with your friends, but keep everyone else out.
Step 1: To create a Hidden Album click “Add Album” from the main page of your Album.
NOTE: If you already have an album created that you want to make private skip step 2
Step 2: Give your new Album a name, for instance “hidden.”
Step 3: Navigate to the album you want to hide and click “Edit Album.”
Step 4: Click the “General” tab.
Step 5: Click the “Hidden” check box in the “Hide Album” section.
To test and make sure this Album is hidden click the “guest” link on the page.
Once in the guest view you shouldn’t be able to see your newly created Album. Enter the direct URL to the new album you created (example: http://www.snapshothost.com/users/demo/hidden). You should be able to see all the images in this album now. Other visitors to the site won’t be able to navigate to this folder but you can send the URL out to friends and they will be able to view all the images.
