Creating a Private Album
Creating a Private Album is a good way to upload pictures you want to have online but don’t want people to see. The album is completely invisible to any visitors to the site and none of the images can be shared.
Step 1: To create a Private Album click “Add Album” from the main page of your Album.
NOTE: If you already have an album created that you want to make private skip step 2
Step 2: Give your new Album a name, for instance “private.”
Step 3: Navigate to the album you want to make private and click “Edit Permissions.”
Step 4: Remove all the “Group Permissions.”
Your “Group Permissions” section should look like this now:
To test and make sure this Album is private click the “guest” link on the page.
Once in the guest view you shouldn’t be able to see your newly created Album. Now start uploading pictures to that Album and no one will be able to browse to them!
